Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the motel was quite disappointing. While the room was clean, it was far from comfortable, especially during the winter storm we experienced. The bathroom was cramped and cold, making it challenging to enjoy our stay. The owner was knowledgeable and friendly, which helped, but the overall experience fell short of expectations for the price we paid.
This classic 1930's hotel is a gem for anyone traveling Route 66. The cleanliness and comfort of the rooms stand out, and Rich, the owner, offers an exceptional level of hospitality. It’s a great value for money, especially with the continental breakfast. However, during our visit, we encountered a steep price increase due to a winter storm, which was disappointing.
I had a wonderful experience at this historic motel, which is not only clean but also filled with character. The owner, Rich, is incredibly helpful and really enhances your stay with his local insights. However, while the rooms are comfortable with great amenities, I felt the breakfast options could use some improvement.
I had a delightful stay at this historic motel on Route 66. The owner truly cares about the property and it shows in the cleanliness of the rooms. It’s conveniently located near a great spot for food and drinks. While the breakfast could use some improvement, the coffee was excellent! Overall, it’s a charming place rich in history, although it's still a work in progress, which might not suit everyone.
I had a wonderful stay at the Grand Motel! It was spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable, with the owner Rich being a standout host who really enhanced my experience. While the hotel may be a bit aged, it offers fantastic value for money, especially with the breakfast served in a charming outdoor area. However, the rooms are quite basic and the bathrooms are a little cramped, which might not suit everyone’s taste.
